Can we build a great beginner golf bag for £750 when we don't get to choose the brands?
In this Beginner Golf Bag Challenge, we set ourselves a £750 budget to put together a complete bag using new and pre-owned equipment from Replay Golf.
There's just one problem: our Wheel of Forgiveness decides which brand we have to use for every club category.
This takes our usual brand preferences out of the equation and challenges us to build a forgiving, playable set from whatever the wheel gives us. It also helps demonstrate why focusing too heavily on a particular brand isn't always the best way to build a golf bag.
For each club, we'll consider forgiveness, suitability, specification and value, deciding where it's worth spending more and where pre-owned equipment can help make the £750 budget go further.
Will the wheel give us the perfect combination or completely ruin the build?
